The J.C.'s sponsored spon-sored the event and predicted predict-ed that the 5th and 8th grade would collect more trash than the 6th and 7th grades. One of the reasons that the J.C.'s predicted the win is because Mr. Holcomb is the president of the J.C.'s and has a daughter in the 5th grade. The winners got free Alpine Slide tickets. Every-. Every-. one received hot dogs at the city park. The J.C.'s treated the students who helped pick up the city's garbage to free admission to the Memorial Buidling dance.
