Show Misspent Expense Dear Editor: When you sent your first ; billing for your paper, I sent ' you a note stating, "I do not wish to renew my subscription subscrip-tion to your paper.'' I then did not know why you continued to send it. Possibly, Possib-ly, for the people who reside in Park City, it may be worth the money, but for me, I think $12.00 would be about the most misspent expense I have on my list. To give an example: I do not have the slightest interest inter-est of real estate investments in Park City! Your paper consists of about 80 percent of these advertisements.. And that filibuster eulogizing eulogiz-ing this character John Singer, who fifty years ago would have been shot on general principles for tampering tam-pering with the legal wife of a man and his family. I considered it one of the poorest pieces of journalism I have ever read, drag any thing so "off-beat" like that for that long, I begin to think ... you were a fan of his. The small amount of activities which are printed doesn't help much as I do not know many people in Park City, v I simply abhor polygamy; I consider it adulterous, and just another form of animalism, animal-ism, which is synonymous with "Stud Farm" and "Animal Husbandry." I guess it would be attractive to some old goat who was over-sexed, and relished a "new duck" every night, but any woman who would go along with this sort of thing would have to be about a half-bubcle off plumb. I don't think even Brigham Young, as off-beat as he was, would condone the practice of John Singer. I am sorry I cannot use your paper. Yours Truly J.A. McKnight Vernal, Utah |
