WESTERN OPTICALS BEAT UTAH COPPERS The Western Optical basketball basket-ball team emerged victorious in a catch as catch can hoop jamboree jam-boree in the Bingham High School gymnasium Monday night over the Utah Copper five 43 to 35, and as a result the two teams are tied for the lead in the Suburban Sub-urban league. Each team has won a game from the other. The fifst quarter resulted in a 5 to 2 count for the Miners, but the Salt Btikers started their long shot game, and at the half way post the count read: Western Wes-tern Opticals 16, Utah Coppers 7. The second half was filled with baskets and spills, both being about even, although the home guard threatened at times. A tieoff may be arranged, but the Western Opticals claim they want to have a say in the officiating.
