Show LARGE ATTENDANCE AT FUNERAL OF THOMAS BROWN Tne funeral of Thomas Brown was held yesterday at the Fourth ward meeting house at 2 p. ra. Bi6hop E. A. Olscn piesided. The attendance was large and many beautiful floral offerings were brought to the casket as a last tribute of respect re-spect to the much beloved friend and j citizen. ' Dry Those Tears," by Miss Tillie Hancock, "The Christian's Good Night." by Mrs. Mary Farley, and "O, My Father." by Mrs. Lynch, wero feelingly rendered. The ward choir also rendered appropriate selections. selec-tions. The speakers were President C. F. Middlcton, Patriarch George W. Lar-kin, Lar-kin, John Chambers, Hiram Belnap and Bishop Olsen. all of whom spoke of the upright, clean life of the departed. de-parted. Mr. Brown had been an esteemed employe of the Standard Publishing company for the last six years, in the capacity of assistant hook keeper. Interment was in the Ogden City cemetery. |
