Show FRANK GOULD KINDLY REMEMBERS OLD TEACHER New York, May 27. Frank Gould I has offered to pay tho expenses of the funeral of AJma Wootsum, once Ms teacher, who Is dead in her home at 93 West Ono Hundred and Third street, at tho age of 75 years. She was formerly a private tutor in the Gould family and traveled with Frank Gould as his teacher through Europe somo twenty-two years ago. Mr. Gould has not been here for more than twenty years. When Coroner Cor-oner Harburger made an Investigation Investiga-tion after her death, ho found letters which were signed by Frank Gould. Tho letters were written In a childish child-ish hand and described various scenes in Egypt. Mr. Gould saw a notice of her death In the newspaper and called up Coroner Harburg on tho telephone. He said that Miss Wootsum had been hl6 teacher and asked permission to pay her funeral expenses. The old teacher was almost without funds at the time of her death, It Is said. |
