Henderson, Hen-derson, wholesale grocer, 375 West Second South street, is charged with iolatlng the pure-food laws in a complaint com-plaint sworn lo by State Food and Dairy Commissioner. John Peterson and issuod by the county attorney late Monday afternoon. The specific charge is that Henderson 6old vinegar not properly labeled. The complaint is based upon sections sec-tions 36. 37 and 3S of the pure-food statutes, which say that food products must be properly labeled. Henderson. It Is alleged in the complaint, sold ten gallons of vinegar to R. R. Lawrence, 210 C streot, bearing no label further than that tha jar bore the words: "Ten gallons liquor." The statutes require that vinegar must bear labels as to whether it Is distilled, fermented, oxidized, and the like.
