Show MONTANA ELECTORAL VOTE IS LOST Butte. Mont. Jan. 25 Dr. O. A. Lan-strum, Lan-strum, chairman of the Republican state central committee, today received re-ceived a telegram from Senator Jos. M. Dixon, who Is In Washington, to the effect that Vice President Fairbanks Fair-banks had told him. Dixon, that this was the last day upon which the mes-; mes-; senger from Montana could deposit the presidential electoral vote of that state and that the messenger had not arrived. General Charles S. Warren of this city, who has been selected to present the vote at Washington, stated this afternoon lhat the vote had been sent to Vice President Fairbanks by registered regis-tered mall, and that Secretary II. N. Blake of the electoral commission, has the receipt, showing that the vote has been received in Washington. General Gen-eral Warren said he would be on hand February 10, when the electoral college col-lege met. |
