The finances of Weber county are in a very favorable condition considering consider-ing the fact that the county commissioners commis-sioners havo had to contend with a rather heavy floating indebtedness, consisting of outstanding county war-' war-' rmts. This Indebtedness is gradually being cut down. Treasurer Chambers has called in and paid all Weber county coun-ty warrants registered up to March i, 1909. This Is a far better showing than has been made for a number or year past, and suggests that the board of county commissioners has buen careful in the expenditure or the public funds entrusted to their caro for dlsbursemenL |
