:not to be ! SENT TO SHARON Fearing Demonstration, Kidnapers Are Jailed at Mercer, Pa. Pittsburg, March 26 A conference Is being held here by Chief or Police Craig of Sharon and Sheriff Chase or Mercer county as to the next move to be made in the Whit la kidnaping case. Jas. Boylo and his wife, tho abductors ab-ductors who were brought to tho Allegheny Al-legheny county jail from Cleveland, ( Ohio, last evening, enjoyed a 'good night's rest. Mrs. Boyle seemed great-i great-i ly pleased with her headquarters and i said this morning: "Really, it Is pleasant here." Doyle, too, apparently rested wen last night and was refreshed this morning. Unlike his vivacious wlte, however, Boyle's demeanor Is morose. According to reports today, the prisoners pris-oners will bo taken to the Mercer county Jail this afternoon i For the purpose of averting any unpleasantness, un-pleasantness, the Boyles will not be taken to Sharon, but will go direct to the jail at Mercer, Pa. It Is said this morning that the abductors were brought to this city last night, so that tho trip to Morcor could be made jn daylight. It is Intimated that the officers feared attempted violence at Sharon or Mercer, should the prisoners prison-ers travel at night.
