Washington, May 10 Vice Admiral Baron Sotoklchl Urlui, chief of staff of the Japanese navy, a graduate of the United States naval academy and one of the world's most eminent naval authorities will receive a royal welcome when he comes to the United States. When he arrives at San Francisco, Fran-cisco, May 21, on the steamship Nippon Nip-pon Maru, the courtesies of tho port will be extended. Commander E. W. Eberle, commandant of the naval training station at San Francisco, baa been designated as special naval aide to attend him. He will journey eastward in a special spec-ial car provided for him by a railway rail-way magnate. In Washington he will be the guest of the naval academy alumni at a dinner at the Metropolitan club May 29. Congressman John W. Weeks of Massachusetts, a classmate will give a reception In his honor May 31. Vlco Admiral Urlul, will then go to New York where he and Rear Admiral Ad-miral Speery, U. S. N will be the guests of honor at a banuet given by tho Japanese Society on June 1.. On the following day he will go to the United States naval academy, where, ho, with two other Japanese boys, studied In 1877 to 1831.
