Cunningham, the correspondent who was struck down by a thug last week and severely injured, stated that the injured eye was not improving, the Indications In-dications being that the sight is permanently per-manently destroyed. The exterior wound is healing nicely but the eye is still heavily charged with blood and Mr. Cunningham is unable to distinguish dis-tinguish the slightest sensation from the strongest light that has been thrown against it.
