Show FOXWELL PLEADED NOT GUILTY ADMITS RECEIVING MONEY. Boston, May 19. After pleading not guilty to a charge of the larceny of $2,000,000 from tho Growler Copper company, Charles L. Lowell, who was brought back from Washington today, declared that while he received the money, he sent part of It to a promoting promot-ing company in Belgium. He offered to produce the receipt for tho money from the express company. com-pany. He said if the Belgium concern con-cern was not an honest corporation, he, as well as the Growler company, had been duped. |
