A. Ono of the features jH of the meet will be the three mile field IH in the three mile Jaunt. Martin, who H Ib the western champion In the long H distance evonts will wear tho colors H of the A. A. in the Olympic trials jfl and also at Antwerp, that is If he Is I lf successful in this country. Aside from the three mile handicap ' jJ features of every sort will bo on tho I IH card. In tho 100 yard dash, Creed JH Haymond of the Ogden A. A. will han- jH dlcap the field. Creed will give the field a handicap of 5 yards in this event and a handicap of 10 yards in IH the furlong. Haymond wll also be IH seen in action in the low hurdles and In the relay and 400 yard runs. jH A battle royal will be on the card lH in the high jump when Alma Richards IH and Clinton Larson vie for honors. Both men hold national records in TM this event and it is a matter of a toss- up as to the winner. Larson was H national champion in 1917 while H Richards copped the Olympic title in 1912 and has been starring ever since. H He Is a polished athlete. Richards is v expected to win the shot, discus and V 1 Javelin throws with .ease and to shat- yM tcr the state mark, his own record H In the broad jump. He Is counted on JH to take flvo first places against the jH class of the west. iH Larson will be seen in action in jH tho high and low hurdles, javelin, JH broad jump, shot, discus and polo lf vault Wilson, the fifth member oi H the A. A. team will bo seen in action H In the 440 and SS0 yard runs. He HH was the intercollegiate champion in With such an array of stars in har- ness and with the class of the western states line-up the meet Is sure to be a H success. On the other hand Ogden- ! ites wll have a chance to seo the class of the country in action in Haymond, Larson, Richards, Wilson and Martin. And in the college class such men as jH Wing, Ure, Kerr, Hansen, Dee Falck, J Belnap and others are expected to show clas3. In tho high school class IH Funk of West high, Smith of East H high, O'Keefe, Richards and Vcaay of - Ogden high will no doubt star. The meet will start promptly at 3 i o'clock with the 100 yard dash the j first event. From 3 o'clock until the &t final event, the relay at 5 o'clock, the m program will be filled with thrills ga- 'H lore.
