Show STILLSEIZEO II Deputies Walk in and Allege They Caught Negro Making Mak-ing "Moonshine" Surprised while bii3lly engaged in mrfklng five gallons of moonshine whiskey, says the sheriff, in a room within less than 200 feet from the county Jail, Jim Plyer, colored, was placed under arrest last night by Deputy Sheriff R. H. Wooton and Joe Chadwlck. Plyer was manufacturing manufactur-ing tho whiskey from cracked corn and raisin mash and the still was steaming when tho officers entered the room, it is alleged. Tho still consisted of a boiler, containing con-taining the mash, the coll in a small barrel and a small quantity of corn whiskey which had gono through the still. So completely was Plyer surprised sur-prised by the appearance of the officers of-ficers that ho did not have time 10 shut off the gas under the boiler of mash, tho officers reported. Plyer was booked on a charge of having liquor in his possession. nn |
