Show SEEKING IN LAKE Nine Recovered From Wreck of Madison f leasure Boat. MADISON S. D . July 5 Nine bodies' were recovered from the wreck of the pleasurp boat Reliance here early to-, day which foundered forty rods off; shore after striking a stump. It was estimated that ?,2 persons were aboard the boat when the aeelden occurred Reports say seven bodies are still in the water. Early today the lake in tho vicinity of the spot where the boat foundered was beint; dragged and it is expected thai more bodies will be recovered before be-fore noon. The accident took place when the '. oat, which was coming from the south end of the lake, rounded a point. The pilot of the. boat. J. A. Erlckson, is Said to have cut in too close to the shore when making the point and a stump tore a great hole" in ihe bottom of the launch. Many of the passengers jumped into; the water.
