Show Carabineers Fire Into Rioters in Streets j of Florence. GOODS DESTROYED Petroleum, Gasoline, Wine, Beer and Olive Oil Poured Out. FLORENCE. Friday. July 4. (By The Associated Press.) Carabineers fired upon crowds here today. Disor-ders Disor-ders are increasing and the ransacking of shops is widespread. Strengthened by rowdies, the crowd has abandoned Itself to the general! sacking of all shops, destroying wha j it Is unable to carry away. One entire street is flooded with petroleum, gaflO-hne. gaflO-hne. wine, beer and olive oil. Wherever the chamber of labor Is I able to exercise authority, goods are! being transporated to special warehouses ware-houses under the red flag. Large quantities of supplies are being turned over to the municipality in the chief square of the city Money taken from j shops also is being placed in tho care' of the municipality, or the chamber of) l..bor. Thousands of boxes of matches are being distributed free to the crowds. The only shops respected by tho rioters ri-oters were those bearing the inscription: inscrip-tion: "This shop is at the disposal Qf tho chamber of labor." The chain-bei chain-bei e! labor apparently has become i the only authority to which the people; pay any attention. The automobiles1 and cabs permitted to use the streets must bear signs reading, "circulation allowed by the chamber of labor.'' The local authorities seemingly have made no effort to oppose the chamber of j labor. .
