All rec- f ords for cold weather were broken ST in eastern Colorado today while in the Panhandle section of Texas records were equalled. At Yellowstone National Nation-al park the thermometer showed six degrees below zero which also is a record, according to the local weather bureau. At Denver the mercury stood at 2 degrees de-grees below zero. The next coldest October weather was in 1S73 when the coldest record 1 degree above zero was recorded. Itoswell, N. W., which was the far- fj thest south the cold wave extended, I the mercury dropped 50 degrees to 22 degrees above zero in twelve hours. Cold Wave Warnings. WASHINGTON, Oct, 29.
