Show IEET1 KK HELD AT TABERjyAGLE BY DAUGHTERS A largely attended meeting was held this afternoon in the tabernacle, at which Congressman Milton H. Welling and James Pingroo addressed the assembly. as-sembly. It was in the nature of a mass meeting of the Weber county chapter, Daughters" of the Pioneers. The meeting meet-ing was called last Saturday, when a committeo composed of tho different leaders of the dliTeront branches of tho Daughters of the Pioneers mot to discuss the purchase of a liberty bond. It is called to authorize the purchase of a $500 bond, on which the Initial payment already has been made. Although the meeting was called by the Daughters of the Pioneers, it was made public, particularly to the women wom-en of Weber and Ogden. The subjects : of the two speakers had interest for all women, as they dealt on the part I the women of the nation must play In the war with Germany. i A special feature was the singing of the national French anthem, "The : Marseillaise," in the original language j by Mrs. Madeline Farley and Mrs. Emily Em-ily Farloy5 twin sisters, 78 years old. 1 There were also numbers by Mrs. Fred N.
