I IN MUNICIPAL COURT Kj Joe Ling, John Doe Leo and Leoj H Yet. three Chinamen, were each fined H; $25 by Judge Barker in municipal court this morning for having opium in their jsEh possession, Joe Ling is an old man 'SBHl and has been addicted to the opium JjijfcBjifciblt and the ofllcers stated he could '5S!lp-ot 1Ive without the dmg. vp The fine was imposed. Judge Barker stated, as a vturning to the younger men to keep away from Ling and his drug. The case against Will Houten, charg-j ed with trespass on railroad property was dismissed this morning, when the 1 railroad officials failed to appear as complainants In the case. Houten i pleaded not guilty. The judge stated , that if the officers making the complaint com-plaint did not show interest enough in the cases to appear in court, he would 1 dismiss them. Chas. McCutcheon and Arthur Bernard Bern-ard both pleaded guilty to being drunk 1 and were fined $50.
