The French troops today attacked in the region to the north of Craonne and Berry-Au-Bac on a front of about two-thirds of a mile and penetratod tho German positions to an average depth of about 400 yards, capturing strong defenses and taking 175 German prisoners, according accord-ing to the French official communication communica-tion issued this evening. The communication says: West of the Miette river we attacked attack-ed tho German line south of Juvin-courL Juvin-courL On a front of about one kilometer kilo-meter and to an average depth of 400 j meters our troops reached all their objectives ob-jectives and captured strong enemy defenses. Army of the east, November 20: In tho region of the Struma several aerial aer-ial encounters took placo, during which an enemy hirplane was brought down. To the west of the Vnrdar, In the direction of Habzibriman, we repulsed re-pulsed an attempted enemy raid. Artillery duels are reported in tho Cerna bend and north of Monastir.
