The French troops today attacked in the region to the north of Craonne and Berry-Au-Bac on a front of about two-thirds of a mile and penetratod tho German positions to an average depth of about 400 yards, capturing strong defenses and taking 175 German prisoners, according accord-ing to the French official communication communica-tion issued this evening.
