Show 0ELEMT1 01 GOOD ROADS TO OIL 01 IE GOHERHOH At the meeting of good roads enthusiasts enthu-siasts in the Weber club, Saturday evening, a committee was appointed to wait upon the governor and the state highway commission to determine what aid can be offered toward the improvement of the highway through northern Utah and especially the relocation re-location of a stretch of twenty miles In northwestern Box Elder county. Present at the meeting was State Auditor Joseph Ririe who assured the delegates that Governor Bamberger-was Bamberger-was not opposed to improvement of state highways during war times. Mayor T. S. Browning gave a short address, urging the men to count on Ogden's hearty participation in any movement which looked toward improvement im-provement of roads or other progression. progres-sion. The meeting was presided over by A. P. Bigelow. The whole topic of discussion was how to hold the tourist travel and keep the roads in good shape and every man present gave his assurance of support.
