Show I. MED ILL SPEAK SATURDAY HI ' AT TABERNACLE Plans were perfected yesterday for the leoture of Dr. Charles F. Aked at the Tabernacle on Saturday night. W. F. Handsaker, advance agent for Dr. Ake.d, was In the city and attended to the details of arranging for the meeting. meet-ing. Dr. Aked will deliver a lecture on Armenian and Syrian relief. He will tell of tho hopes and traditions of these two down-trodden people and will glvo a descriptive picture of their country. Tho work of the American Am-erican citizens toward relieving their sufferings will bo outlined and h( will also tell of the co-operative plan of the Red Cross and American committee com-mittee for their relief. The leoture is said by Mr. Handsaker Hand-saker to be ono of the most interesting interest-ing ever delivered and with Dr. Aked's masterful handling of the subject should attract a large crowd to the Tabernacle. . nn |
