Show E. S. L1TTLEFIELD ON HIS IV 10 FUNK E. A. Llttlefield left Ogden yesterday yester-day afternoon for Now York on tho first part of hi? journey to France. Ho will sail for France within a short time after arriving at New York. Mr. Llttlefield received his orders to de part only 36 hours before leaving and was considerably pressed to arrange his business affairs and go. Pie will serve as a motor trapsport driver for the French government, being one of many college men who have volunteered their ervices for this work. He will bo required to furnish fur-nish his own clothes, food and lodg-ing lodg-ing until he gets to France and also to pay his fare. When he is in actual ac-tual service, he will be paid 5 cents a day by the French government -with mess privileges. oo |
