Show COMMISSION FINDS RATES PREJUDICIAL WASHINGTON, Sept. 21. The examiner's ex-aminer's division of the interestate commerce commission today announced announc-ed a tentative finding in the case of B. F. Herst et al. versus Boise Valley Traction company which operates for eighty miles along the north bank of the Boise river to a point opposite Caldwell, where It crosses the river, I forming a loop, ! Tho petitioners, twenty-six in num-j ber, attacked as unreasonable and ex- ceslve the combination through rates! established by the traction company and the Oregon Short Line on fruit in carlots to Colorado common points and other eastor points. In tho finding it is held that the rates complained of are prejudicial to the extent that they exceed blanket rates from Boise over the Oregon Short Lino to the samo destinations, tho combination rates having been obtained ob-tained by adding local rates to tho Oregon Short Line rates from Boise. . , Of) |
