Show NEWSPAPERMEN AfiE TO BE AT CASEY'S BANQUET All local and visiting lords of the Fourth Estate (newspaper serines, news-gatherers, i rui h-tellers. etc ), are cordially invited to attend a oanquet to be given by Mayor Abbot A. 1 ley-wood ley-wood at the Weber club at 5 o'clot k this evening in honor of Jam s P. Casey, former managing editor ol the Ogden Examiner, subsequently chief of the Ogden publicity bureau, and recently re-cently appointed general manager of the Salt Lake Herald Republican. The proceedings will be as informal as those of the famous Gridiron club and the speechmakers will talk plain English, as will also the mayor. For some mysterious reason ihe City's chief magistrate desires to get the scribes together, In one bunch, nnd he will probably say something cf importance. The motto of the gathering will be: "To h with what happened j es- terday." Interpreted, this means: The future of Ogden and its newspapers does not lie In the past.
