Show COLORADO HOTELS ARE NOT INJURED Judging by the experience of Colorado, Colo-rado, prohibition will not hurt the hotel ho-tel business in Utah That is the conclusion con-clusion of Martial Davoust, editor of the Pacific Coast Hotel Gazette, who passed through Salt Lake yesterday on his way to his home In San Francisco. Fran-cisco. Mr Davoust stopped at the Hotel Men's association in New York last month and then toured through the south and west, visiting Philadelphia. Philadel-phia. Baltimore. New Orleans. Houston, Hous-ton, San Antonio, Kansas City and Denver. He says that Colorado hotel men are finding that their business is practically practi-cally not affected by the prohibit ion laws there. In fact, last summer was I nearly a record-breaker as concerns 'tourist business. He is of the opinion I that the belter class of Uta hotels will find that their business is as ! great as ever under prohibition, and ( I that they will be spared much worry and expense occasioned by the opera- i ion of a "wet" establishment. |
