Show pickpocket nan TO DISTRICT COURT Alfredo Flores, a Mexican charged with robbery, waived his preliminary hearing this morning in Judge Barker's Bark-er's court and was bound over to the district court for trial. Flores Is alleged al-leged to have stolen a watch from Wallace W. Watts last Friday night at the carnival grounds on Twenty-seventh street, b3r cutting the chain with a pair of specially made scissors and then taking the timepiece from Ids would-be victim's pocket. Watts, however, how-ever, became aware of what had happened hap-pened and caught the Mexican before he could get away. At the same session of court, Ada Moreno, an alleged vagrant, forfeited $25 bail. She was taken into custody last night by Officers Kolllher, Soule and Rice. Mike Moran, arrested for drunkenness drunken-ness and seUIng "phony" jewelry, was sentenced to servo 10 days In jail. James Martin, a vagrant, was given a five days' sentence and R. Hardman, Charles Graham and J. W. Sullivan, drunks, were treated likewise |
