Show MAKE TRIP OVER COUNTY. Provo, Sept. 16. Tho Utah county farmers' excursion through the county, coun-ty, arranged by Farm Demonstrator A. B. Ballantyne and postponed from Saturday on account of the storm, was made today and was a great success. The round of the county was made without mishap. Ten automobile loads left Provo this morning for the south and were joined by others all along the line until there were thirty-five thirty-five cars with 150 occupants, mostiy men, when the party on its way north stopped at tho Hotel Roberts for luncheon at 1 o'clock. In the south end of the county the farmers visited many points of interest, dairies, stock farms, fruit farms, and Irrigation projects, pro-jects, as scheduled by Mr. Ballantyne, and all expressed themselves as highly high-ly pleased with the trip. After luncheon the party went north over the Provo bench fruit ' lands and to Lehl, American For,, j Pleasant Grove and other places whero husbandry was observed in its highest aspect. A number cf people I who did not go south with tho excursionists excur-sionists joined the party on the trip through tho north end of the couuty. i rn 1 |
