Show CLASH OF THE MEXICANFORCES El Paso. Tex , April 7 The Villa and Obregon forces have clashed between be-tween Queretaro and Irapuato, according accord-ing to a telegram from the scene of the fighting received here tonight. Tt was said that the Carranza forces, aft er twenty-four hours' fighting, were driven some distance to the south, their return to Queretaro being cut off The first isncounter took place near Salamanca, It lg said, but Obregon soon retreated to Guajo, where he had massed his force. After a day's fight, terminating today, the Carranza leader retreated south, his return to Queretaro, Quere-taro, the railroad center which he had held, havintr been cut off by one Villa column, while another moved to Intercept Inter-cept him below Celaya which Is about thirty miles from Salamanca. One Villa column flanked the enemy by crossing the Laja river and the mountains of San Juan de la Vaga, according ac-cording to reports, and the other column col-umn has arrived at a mountainous point which dominates the road through which the Obregon troops : must pass. It wa6 said in the telegram tele-gram that Obregon's communications with San Luis Potosl had been cut off. MRS. BON N EM ORT BURIED. Kaysvillo, April 7.
