The big list of casualties of the rank and rile of the British arm) issued yesterday yester-day of the recent fighting at Nueve Chapelle. was increased today by the giving out of another list whicb contains con-tains the names of 1108 men. Of these. 3tfi were killed and the remainder re-mainder wounded. The casualty list issued in London yesterday carried the names of h4?, non commissioned officers and men of seventy different regiments Of these 649 were killed and 1107 wounded wound-ed while forty-seven were reported missing. The list of today shows 762 wounded. wound-ed. The totals for the two days show f fr men killed, 1861 wounded and 87 missing. Altogether the list shows casualties amounting to -951 in killed, wounded and missing The lists evidently covered the losses loss-es BUS tained in part of the sanguinary fighting which resulted in the cap-tuie cap-tuie of Nueve Chapelle last month. |
