EIGHT MONTHS Oil j AUTOMOBILE THIP Mr and Mrs I.. V Clements have returned home from an automobile trip of 7.608 miles, during which they touched the four borders of the United Uni-ted Stales. They have heen away since August 11'. 1914 and the only accidents met with was one breakdown break-down of the small car which they used and the loss of their pet fox terrier ter-rier dog In the Gila river bottoms. The couple traveled from Ogden via the Lincoln highway to Chicago and then went to Buffalo along a route paralleling the Erie railroad. A side trip was made from Buffalo to Niagara Falls, and from there they traveled to Albany, along the New-York New-York Central railroad, crossed the Berkshires and went to Boston on a road paralleling the Boston & Maine , From Boston, the Ogden people went for a side trip into New Hampshire. nd Maine, the latter state being Mr. Element's former home. In making ,i a trip they traveled approximately 7S1 mile? Returning from Boston they motored mo-tored to New York, then to Philadelphia Philadel-phia and then westward, through Ohio. ' Indiana and Illinois lo St LouIb. Their course from Si Louis was southward through Missouri, southern Kansa Oklahoma and Texas to LI Paso and then along the Sunset Route to San Dieco. On the trip up the coast thev visited most of the larger coaft cities reaching Los AngHes on .lanuar 26 Thej visited both of the California expositions and returned home in a leisurely way, over the Lincoln hin way from Los Angeles.
