Show GREEK STRUCK BVEB THE HEAD BY A STRANGER i Hyrum Smith, a transient, 39 years of age, was taken into custody late thin afternoon by Detectives Robert Burk and Robert Chambers following an alleged assault upon a Greek at the rear of a lower Twenty-fifth street saloon Smith is said" to have hit the Greek over the head with a piece of gas pipe, putting him hors du combat com-bat for a number of minutes. Smith may will be compelled to face a felony charge as a result of the affair, although the Greek is not believed to he badly injured.
