Show HUMANE 'SUNDAY IN THE CHURCHES OF THIS CITY Next Sunday is to be observed In the churches of Ogden as "Humane Sunday " The object of the services is set forth as follows: For many years the question of a Humane Sunday observance has been brought up and urged by the anti-cruelty anti-cruelty societies. At the national na-tional humane convention, held at Atlantic At-lantic City last October, It was re solved1 to undertake a nation-wide campaign in behalf of this observance, and that an attempt should be made to have the week preceding Humane Sunday devoted to ' Be Kind to Ani mals" celebrations. Committees are being formed in most of the states and the movement will soon be in full swing. |
