Plans for the erection of its first factory in western Oregon have been practically completed com-pleted by the Utah-Oregon Sugar company, com-pany, an organization composed of Salt Lake capitalists and Incorporated in Utah about two weeks ago. The announcement of the progress of the company's plans was made last night by G. E. Sanders, Wee president of the company. Within the past ten days, more than half of the 5000 acres required to supply sup-ply beets for the factory have been contracted for and It is expected that within another ten days or two weeks the full acreage will be signed up. The exact location of the factory has not been decided upon, but it will be along the Southern Pacific In the Rogue River valley. Work to Be Rushed.
