Show DRAINAGE FOR TWO DISTRICTS IN. THIS COM This afternoon United States irrigation ir-rigation engineer L. M. Wlnsor, and Weber county agricultural agent W. Preston Thomas, will meet with the farmers of Hooper to discuss the drainage question in that district and tomorrow evening the gentlemen will meet with the Plain City farmers for the same purpose. Mr. Wlnsor will make a. careful investigation in-vestigation of the proposed drainage projects In Weber county and will advise ad-vise the farmers respectimj' every phoso of the subject It is said that about 3000 acres of good land in the county can be advantageously drained and made productive. ProL Wlnsor. will go to West Weber and Hooper tomorrow to consult with County Agent Thomas and the local branch of the farm bureau with regard re-gard to sinking wells for supplying deficiencies de-ficiencies In summer irrigation. He will suggest pumping water from waterlogged, wat-erlogged, to the dry areas. oo |
