Show FORMER OGDEN BOY ON A NOVEL JOURNEY Frank H. Snyder, a former well-known well-known druggist of Ogden is now gaining gain-ing prominence In the lecture field. He recently completed a trip from Lewlston, Ida., to the Pacific ocean, a distance of 453 miles, in a motor-propelled houseboat to gather new material ma-terial for a series of lectures, to be given all over the country. On the last lap of the journey a stop was made at Astoria, Ore. and the Morning Morn-ing Astorian, a newspaper of that city, had tho following to say of tho enterprise: "On the last lap of their journey from Lewistom Ida., to the Pacific ocean, in which descriptive and animated ani-mated photographic material Is being gathered for an illustrated lecture on the Columbia river and environs. Captain Cap-tain W. F. Goodrich and Frank H. Snyder arrived in thiB city yesterday. "These gentlemen began a trip of Investigation up the Columbia and Snake rivers laBt May, to determine (Whether or not this district possessed attractions in sufficient number to warrant a special lecture. Pictures and 'll anecdotes were also obtained of Mrs. 1 Sunday and the children, as well as of 'H their house and farm.
