Show oo WOMAN ATTEMPTS TO COMMIT SUICIDE Salt Lake, Jan. 29. A woman, 24 years of age, who gave the name of Eva Doyle, attempted suicide in a room at the Rex hotel on South State street at 11:30 o'clock last night by drinking a quantity of poison According Ac-cording to employes of the hotel, the odor of the poison was detected as Issuing from her room on the third floor early in the evening. Dr. A. Llpkis, who lives at the Lund apart- ments, was summoned, and later called call-ed the police. The woman waa ta : ken to tho emergency hospital, wherf I she was attended by Dr. H. B , Sprague.
