Intersections must be paid for by the property owners The law at present requires the city to stand the expense. Our laws on public improvements k, allow the owners of one-third of the C property to force the paving of a p street. This is a small percentage r, ad might lead to an abuse of a city's p power to pare. An administration, r in league with a construction compa ny, might work great hardships on property owners, If the city had no restraints such as are imposed by forcing forc-ing the municipality to earn" part or the financial responsibility that goes with street paving, At present there is a nice balance imposed as between property owner and city government, which should not be disturbed by the proposed teg .
