MONSON TO FACE I SERIOOS CHARGE Sheriff T. A. DeVine states that C. D. Monson, alias Carl G. Curtis, this afternoon will be charged with tissuing fraudulent checks in payment pay-ment for a bill of goods at the W. H. Wright & Sons' store some time ago and also for issuing a chock to W. H. Chevers, the amount of the checkB being $90. Monson already was in trouble abont bad checks when he was placed under arrest yesterday afternoon on the two latter charges. He is said to be a residence of Franklin, Ida , and the checks were issued on an Idaho bank The officers claim that Monson confesses to purposely issuing is-suing the bad checks. There Is a question as to whether he should be chartged wit hforgery or obtaining money under false pretenses.
