Show NOMINATIONS FOR THE COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION At tho nominating convention cf the Third educational district of the county coun-ty schools which was held at the office of-fice of the county board of education in this city at 11 o'clock this morning, frank W. Stratford wes unanimously nominated to succeed himself as a member of the board of education Of 15 delegates entitled to take part In the convention, thirteen were present The district embraces Marriott. Mar-riott. Burch Creek, Uintah and River-dale. River-dale. At the Hnntsvllle convention for the Fifth district, the incumbent, John Halls of Hnntsvllle and D C. Walker of Eden were placed in nomination Opposition to Mr. Halls was based on the ground that he has held the position po-sition long enough and, also, that some other town in the district other than Huntsville should be represented represent-ed on the board of education at this time This district embraces Huntsville, Hunts-ville, Eden and Liberty. The convention for the Third district dis-trict will be held at North Ogden at X o'clock this evening and the candidates candi-dates said to be in tie field for nom .n&tlon are the incumbent, Fred Barker Bark-er of North Ogden, David E Randall of Randall and Henry Jensen of Pleasant View. The election will be held December 2 In the various towns of the three districts. |
