Show oo- FOURTH WARD IDS Ml CONFERENCE The annual conference of the Fourth ward was held yesterday with the meeting house well filled at each session. ses-sion. The regular priesthood meeting meet-ing was held at 9 a m., at which the work of the different quorums was outlined for the coming year. A general meeting was held at 10 o'clock, with President Charles C Richards presiding The speakers were President Richards Hyrum Bel-nap Bel-nap Prof C. J. Jensen, David J. Johnson John-son and T. C Hoyt. The third session was held at 2 p. in., with the officers and teachers of the ward priesthood quorums and auxiliary associations present. The time was taken up in the giving of instructions for the carrying on of the uork among the lay members of the ward by President Richards and members mem-bers of the high council. At the evoning session, the chapel was crowded to its capacity and those present listened to a splendid discourse dis-course on the subject of "Loyalty." by Apostle D. O. McKay The general, gen-eral, stake and ward authorities were presented to the congregation at this meeting and each one was unanimously unanimous-ly sustained. Several pleasing solos were also sung at the evening session by Miss Lillian Robertshaw and Mrs. Emma Lindquist. |
