Show AID SOCIETY TO OPEN FREE DISPENSARY FOR CHILDREN The Children's Aid society will open a free dispensary at 24o9 Washington Wash-ington avenue, upstairs, over Kern's Cafe. Saturday afternoon, December o. and from that time on it will be open Vednesda and Saturday of each week, from 2 o'clock until 5 The object of the dispensary' la to see that every' child, whose parents are unable to pay for medical attention atten-tion of any description, will receive the necessary treatment, and in case thej cannot "have the proper care In their homes, that will be seen to, as well as having the services of a phvslcian. The societv has already done a pood deal along these lines, and it now seems advisable nnd necessary to establish headquarters which will be easy of access during the winter months, and a convenient place to dMrlbure elothinc to tne neeuy dren Members of the society will be In attendance and a thorough In vest lgat ion will be made of each applicant ap-plicant for assistant, so as to bo ittre that Uie clothing Is distributed to the worthy ones.
