Show WATCH NIGHT AT THE METHODIST CHURCH In what manner should one watch out tho old year and watch In the new? There aro various customs. Some prefer to spend It in revelry', others In 6oclal, but Innocent, gaiety. The Methodist church always has held that It ls a time which should be spent In serious consideration, In balancing bal-ancing the moral books of the year and In getting a good supply of grace for the coming year. So Watch Night services have been a unique feature ol the Methodist yearly programs. The First McthodUt Episcopal church here will observe Watch Mght this evening from 8 o'clock to midnight mid-night The first part of the evening will bo spent as a reception to the new deaconess. Miss Mable Lamb who arrives this afternoon from San Francisco to take up her work as assistant as-sistant In thl6 parish Refreshments will be served by the Ladles Aid Society. So-ciety. The Epworth League has suitably suit-ably decorated the reception room. Special music will be rendered. The last two hours of the service will be given to retrospect and prospect, pros-pect, during which the various organizations org-anizations of tbo church will give their annual report and the pastor wll speak and conduct the time-honored Methodist love feast.
