Show Bill CITY WILL i BE SUPPLIED WITH NATURAL GAS K , Nat Levi, manager for the British American Petroleum company, is down from BriRham City. Tho company has been in the field there for several months and has two rigs, a Standard for deep drilling drill-ing and a Keystone for lighter work It began operations by putting down, with the lighter rig. three holes in different localities near Brlgham to a depth of 300 feet. In each of these gas in considerable volume was tap ped at various depths, the first light flow being encountered at about forty for-ty feet 1 Recently the Standard rig has been at work on a well which Is to be sent down 3000 feet It Is now down 1300 feet and Mr, Levi sayB the prospect for gas in commercial quantities Is excellent, and greater volume and heavier pressure are expected as J (5epf n ls attalnd The gas is an oil product and of the very best grade U of natural gas. The quantity of gas already secured by the company in lt6 operations is more than sufficient to supply the town of Brigham, and the company has been granted a fran chlse for putting In a distributing plant for that city. Just now work at the deep well is suspended, awaiting the arjival of casing, shipments of which from the east be b?en delayed.
