Show oo HOLDUP JUMPS FROM MOVING TRAIN Zanesvllle, O., Jan. 28. Five nien werea arrested here today in connection connec-tion wlth the robbery of passengers on Baltimore & Ohio" passenger train No. 105 just outside of this city early this morning. One other is being sought. The six men are alleged to have boarded the train at Cambridge. After robbing several passengers, five of the men escaped. Harry Warner, War-ner, the sixth, was arrested as he jumped from tho train. George Anderson, Thomas Slayton, Charles Lloyd and Charles Slpes, all of Cambridge, were arrested later and are being held by the police. All came from Cambridge on the train. All are well known in Cambridge and denv any knowledge of tho robber'. Pittsburg, Jan. 28. The following statement concerning the robhery of passengers on Baltimore & Ohio train No. 105 at Zanesville, Ohio, was given out at the company offices here today. "Earlv this morning six men boarded board-ed train No. 105 at Cambridge, Ohio, each holding a ticket to Zanesville and Btarted robbing passengers. A purse containing a watch and $7 was taken from Mrs. Karnister. of Kearns Citv. Pa and an overcoat, watch and $40 from W. J. 'Robinson, another passenger. pas-senger. The conductor detected the men and captured Harry Warner, who was "placed under arrest in Zanesville. Zanes-ville. Tho other five men escaped. When searched Warner had In his possession the articles taken from Mrs. Karnister and Mr. Robinson." |
