LABOR LEAK Cape Town, Union of South Africa, Jan. 28. The deportation, from South Africa of ten labor leaders was carried car-ried out so quietly last night that little lit-tle was' known of the occurrence in South Africa today. The men who had taken a prominent pnrt !n tho recent strike arrived in Durban under un-der a strong guard At midnight they were placed on board the steamer Omgeni, which sailed immediately for England. The secret deportation by, the South African government of the strike leaders lead-ers has aroused widespread comment in England and doubt is expressed as to whether the men will be permitted asylum there.
