RUSSIANS ARE TO GO THROUGH OH . TONIGHT A party of 1G0 Russian colonists are expected to arrive In Ogden at 1:35 a, m tomorrow enroute to Park Valley, Boxelder county. They are coming from southern California and northwestern Mexico, where they had been living for a number of years. Most of them are prosperous farmers and almost all of them owned their own homes and farms In the districts which they have just left, the average aver-age value of each one being between 53000 and S3S00. The colonists expected In tonight are the vanguard of a large colony, originally from. -the same section of central Russia, and were well to do even in that country. They are not members of the Greek church, which Is the established church of Russia, and their difference of religious opinions opin-ions was one of the main reasons for their coming to America. They emigrated about ten yoars ago and settled in southern California Califor-nia and prospered while on leased land. The party reached Salt Lake City this morning and will leave that city for Ogden on Oregon Short Line train No. 31 at 12:30 tonight, reaching this city an hour later and will then proceed pro-ceed to their destination at 1:45 a. m., tomorrow.
