Show POLICEWOMEN CAN SHOOT STRAIGHT Chicago, April 8. Policewomen in Chicago can shoot stralghter and can hit the bullseye more often than Chicago Chi-cago policemen, according to a report re-port today from the police school of instruction. Twelve policewomen made a revolver shot average of 88.43 per oent. "Chicago policewomen are better marksmen than the men," said M. L. C. Funkhouser, second deputy police po-lice superintendent. "Twelve policemen police-men taken from the ranks, not the exports, but the average patrolmen, cannot make a better record than the women did." One of the policewomen, policewom-en, Marie Crot, made a record of 96 per cent, and nine out of the twelve were rated as "expert" shots, with averages of 84 per cent, or higher. |
