Seven men were killed outright, one is dying dy-ing -and a half dozen others were in Jured on the Dalles-Celilo government canal works near Big Eddy, just be fore noon today, when a heavy charge of dynamite that Had missed fire was struck by a steam shovel. Three men were killed, another is dying and several were injured today on The Dalles-Celilo government canal works, one mile and a half east of Big Eddy, whon a big steam shovel struck "a hole that had missed fire and caused a terrible discharge of dynamite.
