Somo of the leading druggists have Informed the county attorney that If he proceeds to onforco the ancient law In the case of tho drug stores, he fwlll Ire asked to take similar steps "ajainat the Bale of cigars, candy, lec cream or any other article now sold on Sunday In this city. The potltlon, filed with tho attorney attor-ney sovoral days ago, sets out that the stato law pertaining to tho transaction trans-action of business on Sunday Is being violated bv nearly all the drug storOH. This law exempts drug stores In the Bale of pharmaceutical articles, but tho petitioners declare that It does not allow tho druggists to soli their many side lines on Sunday.
